As some of you may already know WEEP has been booked to play two slots at the Make Music New York Event on June 21st Make Music New York
is a live, free musical celebration across the city that takes place
each June 21st, the longest day of the year. On that day, hundreds of
public spaces throughout the five boroughs become impromptu stages for
over 1,000 free concerts, and WEEP
has been chosen to participate in " the culmination event of what is
being called "The Fashion Week for the Ears". The city will be filled
with industry peeps and musicians alike, so it is such a great
opportunity for WEEP!
As you know, a trip to New York City from Florida can be quite an on-taking so we are currently in the process of raising money for travel expenses (van rental, lodging, gas, misc. expenses) and Although our Kickstarter campaign ended without us reaching our goal, we are now taking donations right from our own site, into one of our own secure PayPal accounts. We are still offering some really great
rewards in exchange for a pledge, such as original paintings, cds,
private concerts and your own personalized original song, to name a few.
You can even suggest your own reward!
